Conan O’Brien is broadcasting his late-night talk show all this week from Chicago, the home of a crappy baseball team, wind, and a long line of exceptional blues musicians, including Howlin’ Wolf and Buddy Guy. To respect the city’s rich musical heritage, Conan and guitarist Jimmy Vivino visited Francis Xavier Warde Elementary School to teach some first-graders how to write a top-notch blues songs.
I loved the entire clip, and must admit that these kids do have it pretty tough; I bet Snooky Pryor didn’t have to eat edamame.
