If Burnsy doesn’t make Louis C.K. the UPROXX Man of the Year again, he’s gonna have some ‘splaining to do. In the first eight months of the year, C.K. has given us another excellent season of Louie, tour dates that skirted the evil influence of Ticketmaster, one of the best Reddit AMAs ever, a photo of him hanging with William Hung and Todd Barry, a course on how to insult people on Twitter, and enough soul-sucking laughs to trump the number of times he’s said “sorry.” Add this to the list: after playing a secret in San Fransisco recently, Louis C.K. bought dinner and drinks for everyone in attendance.

He’s an American hero. I bet they were good drinks, too. None of that Natty Ice crap for him.

Man of the year is absolutely correct! I could not believe it when he decided to drop the price of his tickets. I go to school full time and work part time at Dish so when I heard that his tickets were going to be $45 period, no scalpers, no hikes, I was overjoyed. He said it was because he wanted all of his fans to be able to enjoy his work and I kind of believed him. I watch his show with my Dish Remote Access app on the bus rides home and he is always a wonderful father there, but how much of the show is true I don’t know. After reading your post I understand that he is truly just a good person. I hope to shake his hand when he comes here to Denver.
