Pompous Liberal Dick Demonstrates Exactly How Not To Respond To The Chick-Fil-A Controversy

Here is a video of Adam Smith — the CFO of a medical device company called Vante that’s based in Tucson, Arizona — showing the world exactly how not to respond to the Chick-Fil-A controversy: driving through one of the restaurant’s drive-thrus to take advantage of a free water giveaway and rudely berate the young girl working the window over her employment choices in the process. And, of course, he taped the whole thing and uploaded it to YouTube, presumably in the hopes that doing so would turn him into some sort of viral gay rights hero or something

“I don’t know how you live with yourself and work here,” the staggeringly pompous dick declared to the impossibly pleasant Chick-Fil-A employee working the window before adding, “I’m a nice guy, by the way… totally heterosexual. Not a gay in me, I just can’t stand the hate.”

Great — so you’re a TOTALLY NOT GAY guy who hates hate so much that you think it’s a good idea to hate on the little people caught in the middle of this whole mess, eh? Sure, she should just quit her job today because surely every American fast food worker has a trust fund or something to fall back on and surely she can easily find another job to pay her rent and feed herself. So very empathetic and tolerant of you, Adam Smith! You sir, give compassionate, reasonable liberals a bad name.

Thankfully, there is a bright side to all of this: Adam Smith was fired by his employer this morning after they saw the video above.

Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company.

The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.

We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith’s actions against Vante and its employees.

Vante should hire the girl Adam Smith lectured in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru to take his place. She’s obviously a much better human being than he’ll ever be.

Meanwhile, this whole Chick-Fil-A mess needs to end soon. Enough already.
