In a statement released after the debate the other night in which Mitt Romney promised to pull the plug on funding for Big Bird and PBS if he’s elected president, Sesame Workshop said this: “Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, educational organization. We do not comment on campaigns, but we’re happy we can all agree that everyone likes Big Bird.”
Big Bird, however, has some thoughts of his own on the matter, and they are delightfully profane. Enjoy.

So this is where we are. Some aging puppet hippies are (deservedly) more respected than a candidate for President and more effective at engaging him than the current President is.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
The best part of this entire video has nothing to do with Romney at all. Its the response from Big Bird to wondering what an Abby is.
