Because I’m so sick of this presidential campaign and probably the worst part of any presidential campaign are post-debate spin rooms — where other jerkoff politicians gather with media folk to try to convince America that their candidate won the debate — it makes me happy beyond words that Conan sent Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to the last debate to smear poop all over the whole thing.
My favorite moments: Triumph ruining a shot for Sean Hannity, and him telling a Republican operative that “Romney changes positions more than Lassie did on her prom night.” Enjoy.
And is it any wonder this racist, humorless a-hole blew Triumph off?

People who don’t know about what Conan did for charity are in for quite a shock when they play the video.

Started a little slow for me, but once Triumph started ruining shots, I was rolling on the floor.
Sadly, Triumph is the best thing on Conan’s show anymore. I don’t know what happened, but ever since he left Late Night for The Tonight Show and now Conan, his show just hasn’t been as good. I think he lost a lot of really good writers on his move from NY to LA. I’m particularly not a fan of Conan’s writer that he has on the show a lot, Deon Cole. His style of “black people do this, whereas white people do this” humor is really cliche and generally not all that funny.
Plus, Conan’s monologue goes on for WWWAAAYYYY to long now days. His strength on the Late Show was that he’d do a short monologue set, have one sketch behind his desk, go to break, come back with another sketch, then throw to commercial and come back with the guests. Considering that the monologue was never a strong bit of Conan’s Late Night, the fact that the whole beginning of his LA shows are monologues now is not a good thing.
