According to the Calorie Control Council, which I'm sure has no agenda, the average American ingests 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving. Even if that number's inflated and you divide it in half, that still leaves you with 2,250, or approximately the number of calories you're supposed to ingest in an entire day.

In other words, you gonna get fat on Thanksgiving. It's the American way.
