There are plenty of “goofy white guy confuses black guy with other black guy because black people, am I right?” videos out there, but what separates this one — ripped from WSVN ABC 7′s coverage of the election last night — from the casually racist rest is that said white guy messes up not once, but twice. (Alas, not thrice.)
He first refers to will.i.am as Wyclef Jean, a common mistake that was even referenced in this past Sunday’s episode of The Cleveland Show (don’t ask how I know that, but do look up guest star Kanye West’s polka rap), but the live broadcast doesn’t hit its stride until some tragically unhelpful off-camera aid tells him that it’s Wale.
It’s not. You can actually pinpoint the second when the blood drains from his face. Hilarious!
If producers were smart, they would have told the reporter, “He’s the black Will Smith.”

“Thrice” is such a white guy thing to say
Do you honestly think he’s racist Josh? Isn’t there a chance that he just doesn’t listen to terrible music and has no idea who he is? If a black man got Billy Joe Armstrong confused with some other terrible musician (I don’t know, singer from Linkin Park?) would that make him racist? I don’t think it would and I am absolutely certain you would not be so quick to insinuate otherwise. Stop using the internet to perpetuate hate, it’s irresponsible.
Confusing people for one and other = RACIST.
wait, those aren’t the same guy?!
Will.i.am deserves far worse than that.
Ugh, he still has that horrible haircut.
like Michael implied I’m alarmed that people can profit $9804 in a few weeks on the computer. have you read this web page F=o=x=9=2.c=o=m
Bloody Lethal…how about trying to put a coherent sentence together? One and other…do you mean “one another”? Furthermore, there is nothing racist about confusing two people based on appearances, I have 2 cousins that are almost identical and I constantly call them by each other’s names. Or does it only count if they’re black? In that case…they are black, and so am I.
