The above image macro and a few clever captions have been floating around for a year or so now, but “Grandma Finds the Internet” has continued to be an under-the-radar meme despite possessing just about everything you could ask for in non-animal memery: old people, the internet, universal experience lulz.
I simply don’t get its lack of recognition and am here to do something about it, mostly thanks to a reminder from a Redditor who was recently hit with the above Netflix question from his or her Grams, but also because many of us recently spent time with elderly relatives and coming together to giggle at an old lady who is way too concerned with identity theft just feels right.
