
It’s not that there can’t be great a capella covers of Skrillex songs — it’s just that they’re few and far between. This is not a great a capella Skrillex cover. It’s just a Mets fan (WARNING SIGN WARNING SIGN) in his bedroom, recording himself performing a version of “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites,” which is already unfortunate enough, considering its commonality with a great David Bowie album, and that’s before he starts making noise.
He sounds like a five-year-old playing with toy trucks, which come to think of it, is still preferable to IRL Skrillex.

“Mets fan” has really become a popular internet insult in the past 10 years. I hope all the hipsters influxing to Queens these days can put up with being associated with such an uncool baseball team. As a non-sports person, I find it pretty funny.
