Watch A Full-Length, Live-Action Recreation Of 'Toy Story' With Real Toys

After the second greatest movie to come out on November 22, 1995, Toy Story, was released, did anyone else wonder if toys really did come to “life” when you weren’t around? Note: I was eight years old at the time, but STILL. What if they knew all our terrible secrets, the awful things we did to ourselves when we were alone in our bedrooms? It’s not the Soviets or Iran or giant monkeys with lasers on their backs we should be afraid of — it’s toys.

Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta, the creators of the Toy Story Project, clearly had no such worries, because for the past three years, they’ve been working on a shot-for-shot live-action recreation of Toy Story, which they finally finished earlier this month. If you’re wondering when Pixar is going to sue them and take everything they own, minus a few Randy Newman CDs, well, they won’t; according to Gizmodo, “Pauley and Perrotta actually made their way out to Pixar HQ last week and apparently got the OK to go ahead with the project.” That’s almost as awesome as the BEST movie to come out on November 22, 1995, Money Train. Someone redo that next.
