I have to ask, is it just me that absolutely cannot get through these slide shows on my iPhone? The swipe to go to the next story takes me to another one every time I hit next. It’s infuriating.
The “swipe to see next story” is the stupidest idea ever. I get so pissed with Uproxx if I never try to read it on my phone. If you don’t scroll in a perfectly vertical motion it will load the next page. This has happened to me countless times and not once have I ever wanted it to happen. Clicking back and then browsing until I see another story to read is pretty simple. I don’t need this feature at all.
The mobile site is basically broken on Chrome. Just flat out does not work. I have to use two fingers to scroll for some reason and it’s just annoying. I just use the desktop version even on my phone.
