The “Harlem Shake” phenomenon has been around since the ’80s, but this silly dance has recently exploded in popularity. Our own Josh Kurp explained the meme very well here. The short version is, “one person dances, beat drops, everyone’s dancing.”
Now the Norwegian Army has discovered the dance, and they’ve raised the bar for all future Harlem Shake videos. This is exactly the silliness we’ve come to expect from a nation whose King’s Guard is led by a penguin:
