If this is your "Santa Claus isn't real" moment, I'm so sorry. Turns out, porn stars aren't everything they appear to be. They wear...MAKEUP. The breasts, though, those are all real. Anyway, some thoughtful stranger collected over 90 images of female adult film stars with and without their makeup on. It's a revealing before-and-after and, to quote a MetaFilter commenter, it "humanizes these women who are often objectified and dehumanized."
And much less tragic than the "celebrity close-ups" day-ruiner.

I was surprised at how bad the older women looked, but not surprised about how bad the goths in their 20s were. I guess for the older women it mankes sense because of the decades of tanning and drug abuse. The goths I guess just got into meth earlier.

1) Proactive really needs to get involved in porn
2) I can’t help but wonder what the hell hollywood actresses must do in their downtime because I’d say on average, the porn stars look better than actresses. They weren’t as bad as I thought they’d look. With that said, there’s some really scary ladies out there.
I’d say at least half of these girls are cuties without the makeup. But the others — without naming names — not so much (which isn’t entirely fixed by makeup, either), and at least one is just a straight-up disaster. Too many surgeries.
