Cleveland Kidnapping Victims Film A ‘Thank You’ Video For The Support They’ve Received

For 10 years, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight were held captive by Ariel Castro in his Cleveland home, where they beaten, raped, and generally tortured until they escaped and ran into Charles Ramsey. Months later, they’ve made their first public appearance, in a four-minute video in which, according to Cleveland.com, “they thank the community for its support after their escape from a decade of captivity.”

The ladies don’t appear in the room at the same time together, but they look happy and healthy. Berry says, “I’m getting stronger each day and having my privacy has helped immensely. I ask that everyone continues to respect our privacy.” Just don’t download Magna Carta Holy Grail, and you’ll be fine.
