Wet Leg’s Third Album Is Already ‘Done,’ Just Months After Releasing ‘Moisturizer’

Wet Leg just released a new album, Moisturizer, in July. There's no such thing as too much Wet Leg, though, so fans are already eager for their next LP to drop. They might not have to wait too long, it turns out, as it's apparently already finished. In a Radio X interview with the band's Rhian Teasdale and Josh Mobaraki (as NME notes), towards the end of the conversation, host John Kennedy asked if the band has made any progress on a new album, which would be their third. Teasdale said plainly, "It's done." The host, amazed, asked, “It’s done?!…

Well, she wasn't lying. Today (November 10), Charli shared soundtrack cut "House," a collaboration with The Velvet Underground icon John Cale. Hudson and Jackman, of course, have some real-life musical history of their own. Hudson just released her debut album, Glorious, last year, while Jackman famously sang in The Greatest Showman and Les Misérables. King Princess, who has been getting increasingly entrenched in the acting world lately, is here, too. Ahead of the…

Ozzy Osbourne Was Reportedly Eager To Make Another Album Before His Death, A Collaborator Says

Black Sabbath played a farewell concert this summer, but tragically, weeks later, Ozzy Osbourne died at 76 years old, after years of dealing with health issues. Despite that, though, Osbourne was apparently excited by the idea of making a new album with Zakk Wylde, the guitarist who worked with Osbourne on his solo material. That's what Wylde told NJ.com recently, saying: "He was texting me, 'Zakk, let's do another record. Because I really loved it when you were going through your Allman Brothers, Skynyrd phase when we did 'No More Tears,' it's heavy but it's more melodic, it's not pummeling…

In a message shared on her Instagram Story last night (November 9), Lorde explained: "Luxembourg I'm so sorry to have to tell you that I came down with ruthless food poisoning last night and am still too sick to play for you today. I've been resting all day hoping I'd be well enough but…

Coco Jones Wants Santa Claus To ‘Skip My House’ This Christmas

Coco Jones doesn't need much to have a happy holiday as the year comes to a close. Her latest single, the semi-Christmas-themed "Skip My House," finds the R&B star counting her blessings -- and coming to the conclusion that she's grateful for things as they are. "You can skip my house this year," she informs Santa on the chorus. "I already got everything I need right here / This year, I already counted, and my blessings came in pouring." Instead, she says, all she needs is "a game night with my family," as she's already got "my mother, got my…

Speaking of the latter, Fortnite developer Epic Games just partnered with Daft Punk and Magnopus for a new video for "Contact," the closing track from Random Access Memories. It stars the iconic robot duo drifting through space and navigating environments that look like an iTunes visualizer on steroids. DJ Falcon, a co-producer…

Don’t Count Out Rap At The Grammys

Billboard's recent rule changes sparked a concerned discussion after they resulted in a two-week absence of rap music in the Hot 100 chart's top 40 for the first time in almost three decades. "Is hip-hop dead?" became a familiar refrain among the culture's commentators, as they wondered what a lack of top 40 hits meant for the genre in the mainstream. But today, as the nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards were announced, one thing became clear: You just can't count rap out, even if it hasn't had any new streaming hits for a while. This isn't the first…

In a statement at the time of that announcement this summer, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said, "The Academy's top priority is to represent the music people that we…

Kehlani Follows Up Her First Top Ten Hit With The Wistful ‘Out The Window’

After Kehlani's last single, "Folded," became her first-ever top ten hit on the Hot 100, the Bay Area native is doubling down on its late-90s R&B vibes with "Out The Window." Like its predecessor, "Out The Window" finds Kehlani in the aftermath of a dissolved relationship, and contemplating a reunion. However, while in the previous single, Kehlani fought temptation while resolving to move on, in the newer single, she is the one actively pursuing reconciliation. "Even my mama been asking me 'bout you / I know your mama been asking about me too," she admits. "But I know I'm to…

Rosalía’s New Album ‘Lux’ Includes A Song Co-Written By A Daft Punk Member

Rosalía's Lux, one of the most hyped albums of the year, is out today (November 7). She calls on a roster of guests to help her out with the project, and it turns out that among them is Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, most notably half of Daft Punk. He doesn't have a feature, but he has a songwriting credit on "Reliquia," a dramatic, string-laden song that undergoes a frenetic transformation during its closing seconds. Credited on the same track is OneRepublic leader and modern pop songwriting great Ryan Tedder. Elsewhere, also featured on the project are Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Sílvia…

Hayley Williams, Who Can’t Stop Releasing New Solo Songs, Shares ‘Showbiz’

2025 has been the year of Hayley Williams. This summer, she unloaded a batch of 17 singles, which she later compiled on the album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party. On the energetic pop-rocker, Williams sings, "I wanna do it again / I wanna dance in the strobe lights / I wanna choke on the smoke / And feel your eyes on me." A couple months ago, Williams addressed rumors of a Paramore break-up, saying,…

Then they check in on the Fantasy Album Draft, which is stacked this week with albums from Rosalía, Armand Hammer, Brandi Carlile, Florence + The Machine, and Mavis Staples. From there, they discuss the new supergroup Snocaps composed of Katie and…

A Grammy Nomination Could Complete Addison Rae’s Journey From Social Media Star To Icon

When Addison Rae released her debut album, Addison, critics and fans were stunned. She’d done the unthinkable: shifted from a social media celebrity miming the lyrics to hit songs to creating her own and becoming a bona fide star. Magazines that champion the edgy and avant-garde, like PAPER, shouted that Rae wasn’t a fad or one-hit wonder but would be here to stay. Pitchfork, known for its strict grading scale, gave her release an 8.0 out of 10. She was featured on a remix of one of the biggest albums of the year, BRAT, howling along to Charli xcx’s “Von…

Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” Could Be The Grammy Breakthrough R&B’s Been Waiting For

Dropped in the middle of our modern, noisy musical landscape, Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” achieved the impossible — breaking through by sounding like nothing else on the charts. The swoony, melodic R&B hit about yearning over a confusing lover is a mix of crisp vocals and fuzzy backing tracks, timeless orchestration, and a sing-along chorus. While other artists were wrestling for the title of hyperpop champion, Lenae released a soul-pop bop that is somehow both familiar and new, vintage and nostalgic, and fans took notice. Released in May of 2024 and submitted to the 2026 Grammys, the track peaked…
