Young Thug Cries In The Club In His Mopey ‘Blaming Jesus’ Video

Young Thug is a lonely guy. At least, he is in the new video for his Uy Scuti song, "Blaming Jesus." In the song, Thug confesses that he's been a not-so-great partner to his lady, while also insisting that he'll be okay getting dumped. "Baby, I'm sorry, okay / Just say you love me, okay? You're stayin', I'll be okay / You tired of me, okay," he croons in the chorus. Likewise, in the video, Thug is seen moping in a strip club, despite being surrounded by revelers. We also see him go to church, perhaps looking for absolution for…

Ari Lennox Announces Her Third Album, ‘Vacancy,’ With The Doo-Wop-Inspired ‘Under The Moon’

After leaving Dreamville Records earlier this year and forging out on her own Interscope Records venture, Ari Lennox has announced the impending release of her third studio album. Vacancy is due on January 23, 2026, via Interscope Records, and pre-orders are available now. To commemorate the announcement, Lennox released the album's second official single, "Under The Moon," which you can listen to above. The new single continues Ari's habit of combining old-school aesthetics with her modern sensibilities, borrowing the "doo-wop" sounds from '50s hits like Paul Anka's "Puppy Love" and using her hip-hop-inspired songwriting to lend the classic style with…

Wilco And Billy Bragg Will Give Their First Full Collaborative Performance At Solid Sound Festival 2026

Between 1996's Being There and 1999's Summerteeth, Wilco teamed up with Billy Bragg to release Mermaid Avenue. It was an interesting project, seeing the artists take unheard lyrics by Woody Guthrie and building new songs around them. Wilco and Bragg have never actually performed the songs live in a full concert together, though, but that's about to change. Wilco's Solid Sound Festival is returning to MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts next year, from June 26 to 28. On the opening night, Wilco and Bragg will reunite and perform Mermaid Avenue songs. Specifically, a press release states that "Mermaid Avenue…

Austin was buzzing during ACL's weekend one as Adrien Nunez lit up the stage with a show-stopping performance of “Don’t Wanna Go Home.” Part of Sparkling Ice and UPROXX's Sparkling Sessions 2.0 Tour, the night felt less like a warm-up and more like a full-on mini-festival experience. ‘Crime 101’: Everything To Know About Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, And Mark Ruffalo’s Heist Thriller

In the upcoming Crime 101, an adaptation of a Don Winslow novella, Chris Hemsworth's character is something of an ethical thief, who only steals things that insurance policies will cover. There's of course more to the story than that, and joining him on the journey is a cast that includes Halle Berry and Mark Ruffalo. As for the tone, writer-director Bart Layton describes the film as a throwback to Steve McQueen classics, telling Esquire, "Obviously, who doesn't love those movies? They were grown-up, intelligent, Saturday-night popcorn movies, and I definitely felt like, 'Wouldn't it be great to bring something of…

Selena Gomez Stays In Music Mode With Another New Song, ‘In The Dark’

It's been just over a year since Selena Gomez called her music career "just a hobby that went out of control." In March, she and now-husband Benny Blanco released their debut collaborative album, I Said I Love You First. Now, she has even more new music, as today (October 23), she shared a video for a new song, "In The Dark." The track is a synthy, dance-ready pop…

Hotels We Love: Tropicana Los Cabos Is Tucked Neatly Into The ‘Calmer Cabo’

Towering palms. Hand-painted tiles. A hush you can actually hear. And the warmest pool that's not officially labeled a "hot tub." Tropicana Los Cabos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton sits right off Plaza Mijares in the historic center in Los Cabos (the quieter, more culture-forward "Cabo" -- just up the road from Cabo San Lucas). Meaning you can dip into town and then slip back to pool lounging in about ten steps. Galleries and cafes are at your door; beaches and the bird-rich estuary are close enough to fold into your mornings. The property was freshly reimagined in 2024 as a…

The Mother And Son Who Inspired Tupac’s ‘Brenda’s Got A Baby’ Were Reunited By The Song, 30 Years Later

Rappers are often criticized for exaggerating their stories in their rhymes, but that proclivity has apparently reunited a mother and son, thirty years after she gave him up for adoption, courtesy of Tupac Shakur. Buckle up, this is a ride. New York Times Best Selling author Jeff Pearlman recently made the switch from sportswriting to music, choosing as his first subject the late West Coast rap icon. During an interview with his former colleague Rich Eisen to promote his new biography, Only God Can Judge Me: The Many Lives Of Tupac Shakur, Pearl recounted his own role(!) in the aforementioned…

In a post-credits scene, Mitski has a conversation with somebody who's off camera, and the person says, "So I heard you're putting out an album?" Mitski responds, "Album? What album" The…

Janelle Monáe Confounds Fans With Claim She ‘Time Traveled’ For David Bowie Concert

Whenever stars do press, there's always a chance of things going off the rails, and from there, it's up to the fans to decide if it's delightful or a disaster. For instance: Dakota Johnson's promo cycle for Madame Web, which plenty of folks enjoyed more than the movie itself. The latest example came this week, as Janelle Monáe joined a slate of celebrities for Rolling Stone's annual Musicians on Musicians series. Monáe was paired with alt-rocker Lucy Dacus for discussion, and at some point, she decided to get all the way weird with it, telling the guitarist that she "traveled…

Geese Is On The Hottest Indie Tour Of The Year

About two-thirds into last Saturday's sold-out Geese concert in St. Paul, one member of the Brooklyn indie band's intensely locked-in audience exclaimed, "Cameron fucking Winter!" It was during a break between songs, so everybody heard it. Some laughed, but at least one person protested. With perfect timing, they shouted, "There's other people, too!" The exchange echoed a familiar refrain -- one that I've made myself -- amid the ecstatic response to Getting Killed, the third Geese LP that already feels like a lock for "album of the year" status in 2025, at least among indie listeners. The album's reception had…

What It’s Really Like To Make Music With Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Musician Jared Choeft suffers from a subtype of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder known as “Just Right OCD.” The condition manifests as an intense need for his actions to be carried out in a manner that feels precise, correct, “just right.” This desire leads to repetitive behaviours other people would judge as unnecessary. When trying to complete a task, even one that might appear inconsequential, Choeft is compelled to repeat the process, again and again, until a sense of balance or satisfaction is achieved. If he stopped short, the anxiety would be blinding. Choeft finds his OCD keenly affects the parts of…

Megan Thee Stallion’s Tweet About Marrying An Athlete Resurfaced Because Of Her Relationship With Klay Thompson

Fans are (jokingly) accusing Megan Thee Stallion of witchcraft after a 2011 tweet of hers resurfaced, revealing her athletic marital ambitions before she ever cracked the Billboard Hot 100. The post, from November 14, 2011, reads: "I'm marrying an athelete for sure...maybe a football player..but most likely a basketball player." Typo aside, it certainly appears to have turned out to be fairly accurate, as Meg and NBA star Klay Thompson have been gushing about each other all over social media in recent months. https://x.com/theestallion/status/136209350812372992 The couple first appeared to have sparked a relationship this summer, when eagle-eyed fans noticed the…
