Waxahatchee And MJ Lenderman Are Hitting The Road Together For A Joint Tour

Waxahatchee (Katie Crutchfield) and MJ Lenderman are clearly buds. Lenderman featured on Waxa's 2024 song "Right Back To It," and he also performed on the new album from Snocaps, the duo of Crutchfield and sister Allison Crutchfield. The pair are continuing their friendship, and professional relationship, next year: Today (November 17), they announced a joint tour for 2026. On the 18-date run, the two will perform solo as well as together. The run kicks off in Atlanta in April and from there, will run through to early May. For tickets, a pre-sale starts November 19, followed by the general on-sale…

Charli XCX Continues The ‘Wuthering Heights’ Rollout With A Surreal New ‘Chains Of Love’ Video

Charli XCX is contributing some songs to the Wuthering Heights movie, which we've known for a little while now. Last week, though, she revealed that she's actually doing an entire album. Part of the project is last week's "Chains Of Love," which fans excitedly compared to the True Romance era. Now there's a video, in which Charli finds herself laying on a long table in the middle of a ballroom. As she sings and dances, some surreal elements start to take over, which shift physics and reality. Charli recently wrote of her experience making music for the movie: "In early…

FKA Twigs Delivers Striking Choreography In Her Black-And-White ‘Hard’ Video

FKA Twigs always brings it with her videos, which are frequently high-concept and/or have some incredible choreography. She has a new one out now, for "Hard," and once again, she doesn't disappoint. The black-and-white clip starts with Trigs singing to the camera before she starts dancing around her desert environment. She's later joined by other dancers, creating a menagerie of beautifully moving bodies. Lyrically, Twigs starts the sexually charged song, "Wet thighs, I'm ecstatic, chemistry was automatic / Don’t touch, there's no rush / I gotta know something about you / Just tell me, would you do it hard?" Twigs…

Hotels We Love: Cascada Thermal Springs + Spa Is Portland, Oregon’s Best Hotel

I'm not the first person to be wildly charmed by spas (though, as with everything, Uproxx was riding this cultural wave early). Done well, they're just such a perfect combination of health-meets-fun and relaxation-meets-vibezzzzzzzzzzz. But in becoming a spa connoisseur (spa-nnoisseur?), I've seen a lot of bricks. Sometimes they're too quiet. Others, they don't feel new/clean enough. And others still, they are so strict in their pursuit of serenity that the whole experience becomes cold and sterile. And yes, I know spas aren't specifically designed to be sexy, but they shouldn't veer so far away from that as to become…

Justin Vernon Would Be ‘Very Surprised’ If There Was Ever Another Bon Iver Album

We got a new Bon Iver album, SABLE, fABLE, earlier this year. Unfortunately, it could end up being the final Bon Iver album, as Justin Vernon indicated in an interview. In a chat with The Times, Vernon said, “I’m tapped into the emotion of music -- the blue part. I have that in me thanks to the thousands of musicians I’ve absorbed, and they’re just in there. But I don’t know how much is left. I’ve expelled a lot of it.” When asked if that means there will be any more Bon Iver albums, he said: “I would be very…

Paul McCartney’s New Song Is Almost Completely Silent

Earlier this year, over a thousand artists came together to release the album Is This What We Want?. Per the project's website, it was made in response to proposed copyright law changes in the UK, which would "allow artificial intelligence companies to build their products using other people's copyrighted work -- music, artworks, text, and more -- without a licence." The gimmick is that the whole project is recordings of empty studios and performance spaces, "representing the impact we expect the government's proposals would have on musicians' livelihoods." Now, a vinyl edition is coming out, and Paul McCartney has contributed…

Post Malone, Jack White, And Lil Jon Are Playing The NFL’s Thanksgiving Halftime Shows This Year

The Super Bowl Halftime Show is the NFL's biggest music moment of the season, but it's not the only one. Watching football is as much a Thanksgiving staple as turkey and stuffing, so the NFL is making the most of the holiday exposure with a slew of high-profile halftime show performers. Over the weekend, they made some announcements: Post Malone will play at the Dallas Cowboys-Kansas City Chiefs game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; Jack White will perform at the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers contest at Ford Field in Detroit; and Lil Jon will do the Baltimore Ravens-Cincinnati Bengals…

Keeping up with new music can be exhausting, even impossible. Even following along with the Uproxx recommendations on a daily basis can be a lot to ask, so every Monday we're offering up this rundown of the best new music this week. This week saw Charli XCX explore a new era and Jessie Murph expand her beloved latest album. Yeah, it was a great week for new music. Check out the…

Welcome to SNX DLX your weekly roundup of the best sneakers to hit the internet. We know why you’re here — it’s the Jordan 1 Chicago. For some people, this one sneaker alone is the biggest release of the year and the quintessential Jordan 1. Coi Leray Teams Up With ‘6 7’ Rapper Skrilla For Her ‘Lick Back’ Remix

If anyone can help rising Philly rapper Skrilla navigate watching his breakout single become a meme, it's Coi Leray. She's been a trending topic multiple times over (to the point it was the title of our cover story about the New Jersey rapper), so it's fitting that she's givng the "Doot Doot (6 7)" rapper her cosign, adding him to the remix of her menacing banger, "Lick Back." The video is likewise fairly short and simple; the two rappers hang out in the studio, comparing money stacks, and watch collections as Skrilla mean mugs in his ski mask and Coi…

Camp Flog Gnaw Has Been Postponed Due To Dangerous Weather Conditions In Los Angeles

The city of Los Angeles and surrounding areas are facing down yet another circumstance of adverse weather, forcing Tyler The Creator to postpone the latest edition of his Camp Flog Gnaw festival. This weekend, an atmospheric river -- a narrow corridor of concentrated moisture in the atmosphere -- is set to dump a historical high of precipitation on Los Angeles County. The heavy rain can cause damaging flooding and landslides, especially with vegetation stripped from mountainsides by January's wildfires (where was all this when those were going on? Come on, weather, get it together!). Tyler announced the postponements on social…

Uproxx’s Joypocalypse Explains Why Renewed Interest In Radiohead’s ‘OK Computer’ Is A ‘Generational Red Flag’

Starting in about the middle of 2025 and continuing to present day, Radiohead has been having a moment. In August, OK Computer favorite "Let Down" hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time. (Month's later, Thom Yorke said he "fought tooth and nail" for the song to be cut from the album.) Currently, the band is in the midst of a comeback tour that's a delight to watch even from afar. As Uproxx's Joypocalypse explains in a new video, though, there's something about this renewed wave of interest that's at least a little concerning. https://www.instagram.com/p/DRC5iiTkRVU/ Joy states her…

Uproxx’s Baylee Lefton Will Have You ‘Floating Through Space’ With Her Latest Playlist

Keeping up with music news and resources like Spotify's giant and regularly updated New Music Friday playlist are great ways to keep your listening habits from getting stale. Sometimes, though, you need a deeper dive. That's where Uproxx's Baylee Lefton comes in as she routinely offers quick-hit lists of songs you need to add into your rotation this week. She came through with a new drop today (November 14), and the vibe is "floating through space." https://www.instagram.com/p/DRC4PvMD-V8/ The mix starts with Junodream's "To The Moon." The UK group describes their sound as "alternative space rock" and cites Air's 1998 classic…

Ice Spice Drops ‘Big Guy’ From ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants’

At 25 years old, Ice Spice is squarely (heh) within the age range of the cohort that grew up on SpongeBob SquarePants (and did!). So, it's probably a dream come true that she gets to participate in the soundtrack for the upcoming film, The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants. Her contribution? "Big Guy," a bouncy track that samples dialog from the titular sea sponge, celebrating going from a "little guy" to ... well, you get it. So far, there's no context for the line, but the song allows for Ice to make plenty of references to the long-running cartoon. "Ain't…

Magdalena Bay’s Run Of Surprise Songs Culminates With ‘Nice Day: A Collection of Singles’

Lately, Magdalena Bay have been offloading pairs of singles. Today (November 14), they have the final two in this run: "This Is The World (I Made It For You)" and "Nice Day." The duo says in a statement, "This is the final pair (we made it for you). Thank you for listening to these songs, it’s been a nice day to tangle with you.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV_dkN6x3LA Furthermore, all the songs are getting collected on a new compilation, Nice Day: A Collection Of Singles. The release is available as a vinyl box set, which is set for release on April 17. All…

Earl Sweatshirt Holds A Backyard Cookout In His Celebratory ‘Gamma’ Video

Earl Sweatshirt seems happy lately. The LA rapper, once notable for not liking sh*t and never going outside, is all smiles (and outdoors!) in his videos for Live, Laugh, Love, including the latest one, "Gamma." Set at a backyard cookout, the video features cameos from Earl's artist friends like Zack Fox and Fousheé, as well as family and even Earl's kids, who show off a little basketball acumen on the backyard hoop. There's a bounce house and a spin art station; all in all, it looks like a great time. Earl is currently on his Live Laugh Love tour, which…

What better way to do so than by pairing…

Ken Carson’s Glitchy ‘Margiela’ Video Captures Fast Life With Slow Wi-Fi

Ken Carson's latest video appears to suffer from buffering issues, but that isn't stopping him from having the time of his life in it. The Atlanta rapper apparently shot the "Margiela" video while on tour with his Opium cohort, but the buffering spinner that appears all over the clip was clearly added in post, a cheeky way of trolling fans into thinking their Wi-Fi speeds can't keep up with Ken's fast life. "Margiela" is the latest of a string of new tracks Carson has released while on tour, which includes "Yes" and "Catastrophe." Collectively, the tracks offer some insight into…

Summer Walker Trades In Her Type For True Love In Her ‘FMT’ Video

Summer Walker is Finally Over It, as her new album is finally available to stream and download. The Atlanta singer also released the video for "FMT," which you can see above. The song is a tender ballad, backed by acoustic guitars, in which a self-forgiving Walker realizes she just might not have the best taste in men. "F*ck my type," she croons. "Why do I like him? He will never treat me right." The video for "FMT," directed by Child., is inspired by African spiritualism, as Summer indulges in a ritual bath, assisted by elders. The imagery suggests symbolic rebirth,…

Olivia Dean Will Play Some Huge Venues On Her 2026 ‘The Art Of Loving’ Tour

Olivia Dean just finished a run of tour dates supporting Sabrina Carpenter, a pretty good gig! Next year, she'll be taking charge, as today (November 14), she announced her own tour, in support of her album The Art Of Loving. The North American Shows will have Dean on the road next July and August, and she's playing major venues like Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena and New York's Madison Square Garden. Cardi B’s Fourth Child (And First With Stefon Diggs) Has Arrived

Cardi B has confirmed the birth of her fourth child (and first with NFL boyfriend Stefon Diggs). Cardi made the announcement on her Instagram, sharing a long message of gratitude. My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than…

Leon Bridges Is Thinking About ‘A Merry Black Christmas’ On His New Holiday Tune

Christmas music is officially coming. Laufey, continuing her A Very Laufey Holiday series, recently released a rendition of Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town. The just-announced Oh. What. Fun. soundtrack features holiday covers from Fleet Foxes, St. Vincent, Jeff Tweedy, and more. Now it's Leon Bridges' turn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kB6ZqrZGkc Last week, he shared "This Christmas I'm Coming Home," an original duet with Norah Jones, co-written by Jones and Leon Michels. In an Instagram post, Bridges previously wrote of working with Jones, "Man, it was so cool to get to collaborate with Norah. One of the most talented musicians and artists that…

Jessie Murph Unveils Eight New Songs On The Deluxe Edition Of ‘Sex Hysteria’

This summer, Jessie Murph dropped her second album, Sex Hysteria (in addition to performing at Uproxx's Sparkling Sessions 2.0). There's more to the album, it turns out, as today (November 14), she shared a deluxe edition, which adds eight new songs. Among them are some she's shared already, like the early fan-favorite "I'm Not There For You." Also in the batch is the 6lack collaboration "Forever." The expanded album is also set to be accompanied "by a visual companion piece which will serve as an extension of the creative world Jessie has built around Sex Hysteria and her ‘1965’ music…

Indiecast On The Current Radiohead Tour

Steven and Ian kick off with an announcement about an old favorite/punchline. They also discuss the recent Indiecast Bowl between the Packers and Eagles, the least watchable football game ever. From there, they have an extended conversation about Radiohead's current European tour, and what the band's standing currently is in the culture. Then they check in on the recent Grammy nominations, and critique the always unusual nominations in the rock categories. Then they do a "yay or nay" on The Neighbourhood. In Recommendation Corner, Ian talks about the Australian dream pop singer Hatchie and Steven weighs in on emo/folk/heartland rock…

These 2026 Grammy Latin Nominees Prove The Genre’s Future Is Bright

Latin music is getting shown a lot of love at the 2026 Grammy Awards. While Bad Bunny continues to make history at the awards, there's another wave of Latin acts that are ready to take Spanish-language music to the next level. Bad Bunny is the most nominated Latin act at next year's ceremony with six nominations. The Puerto Rican superstar, who has previously won three Grammys, is making history with his nominations in three major categories. For the first time in a single year at the Grammys, Spanish-language music is nominated in the Album of the Year, Song of the…

When Is Spotify Wrapped Coming Out In 2025?

The end of the year is coming. We're in the middle of November and new Christmas recordings are starting to pop up, so it's now time to start thinking about music fans' favorite annual tradition: Spotify Wrapped, the streaming platform's round-up of users' listening habits. The big issue with Spotify Wrapped is that it's hard to know exactly when it's coming, since there's no set "Spotify Wrapped Day" that's unchanging year-by-year. So, as far as when the 2026 edition will premiere, we don't yet know. But, based on past years, we can come up with a strong estimate. These are…
