The Role That Chevy Chase Left ‘Community’ For (And The Morning Links)

In a recent interview, Chevy Chase said that he hated Community because “the hours are hideous, and it’s still a sitcom on television, which is probably the lowest form of television.” He’s wrong: the lowest form of TV is reprising an old movie character, in this case Clark Griswold, in an Old Navy commercial for “pop pants,” which he has, somehow bastardizing the Griswold name even more than Vegas Vacation did.
