FILMDRUNK

Vince Mancini
Vince Mancini is a 27-year-old Californian living in New York City and the full-time writer/editor of the critically acclaimed smash hit movie blog FilmDrunk.com. A full-time blogger, MFA student at Columbia, and some-time amateur stand-up comedian, he has been previously employed as a barista, a Chinese food chef, a forklift driver, an adult film editor, and a handsome secret agent with a sweet yet masculine scent. He has a Bachelor's degree from UC San Diego, and doesn't know what a Pop and Locksmith does but thinks it would look pretty cool on a business card.

Vince has won many awards for his work, including first place at the 1995 Kings Canyon Unified School District 8th grade spelling bee, and has been known to legibly urinate his own name for money. He derives his super powers from drinking the tears of the unborn, and though it's been rumored that he can cure autistics with a single drop of his semen, these claims have never been verified. In conclusion, he will fight you.

Matt Ufford (Thunderballs)
Just your average Marine Corps veteran turned sports blogger. I grew up all over the States (Washington, Oklahoma, DC, New Jersey, southern Illinois), graduated college from Northwestern in 2000 (double-major in History and Political Science) and then spent four-plus years in the Marine Corps, which included being the lead tank over the border in the invasion of Iraq. Cited for Valor in Combat, blah blah blah, got out and moved to New York because I wanted to write. I had no connections, so I ended up in shitty jobs that led me into the world of blogging and co-founding Kissing Suzy Kolber and With Leather. There you go.

KISSING SUZY KOLBER

Drew Magary
Drew Magary is the co-founder of Kissing Suzy Kolber and a columnist for Deadspin.com. He lives in the DC area with his family. He has been arrested nine separate times for Public Indecency, only to be subsequently proven sexy in a court of law.

He has won numerous prestigious awards you have no hope of attaining. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Bioengineering for his successful attempts to put breast implants in lab mice. He also won the prestigious James Beard Award for his pioneering effort in the world of Japanese-Albanian fusion cuisine. And he has won Time Magazine's "Man of the Year" award seven times, back when they called it "Man of the Year," and not when they changed it to "Person of the Year," which was a totally pussy move.

Magary's hobbies include show jumping, caressing himself, and ignoring street performers. He turns invisible when frightened. He also thinks Mischa Barton isn't anywhere near as hot as you claim she is.

Born and brought up in New York City, I spent the late 90's sitting courtside to a hip hop revolution led by Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli and others. Figuring how different could bloggers and rappers be, I co-founded UPROXX with my best buddy and business partner Brian. In my spare time I listen to gypsy jazz and run after my son.

I grew up in NYC studying jazz music and skateboarding. I am obsessed with all things pop culture from Art Tatum to The Clash to Stanley Kubrick. This pop culture "obsession" led Jarret (my biz partner and oldest friend) and I to successfully market and promote some of the music industry's most respected artists. Soon after selling millions of albums in the late 90's, I became hooked on blogs and web publishers. Uproxx Media was born...

Born and raised in 4 of the 5 boroughs of New York City, life's been an interesting ride. I should have been a journalist or an artist but life took me in a completely different direction. After finding myself all throughout my early 20's, I started Cando with long-time friend, Walter, and 10 years later we're still deep in New Media development. Looking back at those 10 years, I realized that we are the essence of our life's experiences, so consider me: Son, Brother, Traveler, Husband, Father, Entreprenuer and part-time Geek.

Born and raised in a cozy treehouse in Cleveland, Ohio, I flew from the upper atmosphere of that mothership funk in 1993 and landed in Brooklyn, New York. Upon arrival, I put my college degree to good use when I started earning my keep by creating awesome jingles with a few coins and a paper coffee cup on the corner of W. 22nd and 7th Ave. That job kept me happy for years. I still think that job was just a little bit more interesting than my job as a whale rider. Then came the day when I met this gangsta geek dude, Mr. Jwhiz Thompson who put me onto a new racket. So here I sit, making dope graphic design sh**, birthing digital goggle creations so that viewers of Cando’s amazing work will see all the possibilities of this new treehouse we now live in, the Internet.

Fueled by what seems like an endless supply of Mountain Dew, I'm pretty content now that I found the perfect blend of work and hobby -- programming. I grew up in a quiet surburb of Illinois, so I'm a diehard Bears fan. Some people say IL fans are fanatical -- I'm not, at least I don't think so. Then again fanatics don't realize they are until you root for the other team. Anyway, when I'm not spending time with my kids, you can usually find me listening to NIN, Lacuna Coil, Zero 7, Tina Dico and figuring out how to beat Guitar Hero on expert mode.
