Well, the first in-game trailer for Assassin’s Creed III is here, and I must say it looks fairly gnarly. Chopping up redcoats looks like a lot of fun — those guys really are underused as far as historical villains go (well, they’re villains if you’re American. Less so if you’re British, or from a Commonwealth country that never bothered to kick them out). Also, you fight a bear at one point! Can’t go wrong with that.

Hmmm, funny how this guy in a weird hooded outfit who killed half the British army with an axe never appears in any history books.

Can we get a last minute cameo from Mel Gibson? I feel like they should have included Mel as “The Patriot.” Also, are there cannonball decapitations?
Oh the Patriot. How did everyone not realize Mel Gibson was insane back then?
They should make a Crazy Patriot Mel skin and when he chops up badguys he could yell something antisemitic.
