Filming for Thor: The Dark World has moved from the Bourne Woods, Surrey, set to the Greenwich, London, set, which means I get to go crazy with comma over-usage, apparently. We have the newest batch of photos after seeing Jaimie Alexander on horseback, Chris Hemsworth's new Thor armor, and two Thors double rainbow all the way across the sky.
The newest set photos show more close-ups of Chris Hemsworth's armor and, more importantly, give us a first look at Christopher Eccleston as the primary villain. He's playing Malekith the Accursed, the ruler of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim (Gesundheit). Some of those Dark Elves are also in these pictures, looking like back up dancers for Gwar. Thor: The Dark World opens November 8th, 2013 and is directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones).

R.I.P. Eccelstone’s beard. Never forget
Let us mourn it with a traditional ballad.

Really? Nobody is gonna help Chris Hemsworth up? How rude!
You’ve got Cybermen in my Dark Elves!
Damn it, the tags promised Kat Dennings. Instead I got Chris Hemsworth in an outfit that, frankly, is doing his thighs no favours, and some of the worst villain costumes ever. I assume they’re going to be touched up with CGI, because Marvel has a good recent track record, but still.
They kinda look like an army of Kit Fistos.
Was that guy wearing the birdcage Mr Eko? Because if he’s gonna be Kurse, he’s gonna need a better outfit.
