I’m just gonna go out on a limb here and say that it’s a good thing former Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman left the band to focus on a solo career under the moniker Father John Misty, because dude is one of the more natural, flamboyant front men I’ve seen in a while.
Seriously, watch this clip of him performing “Only Son Of The Ladiesman” on Letterman last night and try to take your eyes off of him. It’s just can’t be done. Dude is shooting star blazing through the galaxy at warp speed. His new album, released yesterday, is great. Can’t wait to see him live next month at One Eyed Jacks in the Quarter. You should go see him too. So there.
