I’ve been looking for a way to combine today’s two biggest events — football and the Emmys — for a few hours now, and although my initial hope that Claire Danes would suit up as the Dolphins quarterback (it’s funny because the Dolphins are horrible) hasn’t come to fruition, the God(s?) of Westeros have answered my prayer. Yesterday, during the Seminoles’ blowout win against Clemson Tigers, the Florida State University marching band played the Game of Thrones theme song. According to a shockingly helpful YouTube comment, the song was likely performed for defensive end Bjoern Werner, who, as the meme goes, is coming.
Either that, or it’s an elaborate incest joke against Clemson because, South Carolina.

I heard it during the game and told my wife. She wasn’t nearly as excited as I was. Of course, then FSU started beating the shit out of Clemson and I was no longer excited.
