And here I was thinking St. Vincent and David Byrne’s Love This Giant would be today’s top collaboration story. A snippet of “To the World,” a duet between Kanye West and R. Kelly from GOOD Music’s upcoming Cruel Summer (due out September 18), was released today via Fake Shore Drive, and yup, it’s got an insane hook and R. Kelly saying “put your middle fingers up” over a Kanye beat…motherf*cker.
It’s their official collaboration together (Kanye posted a remix of “Love Lockdown” with Kells on his blog in 2009, but that doesn’t really count), and hopefully not their last.
