The O.C. mainstays the Postal Service are celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their first and only album, Give Up, with a much-anticipated tour and Sub Pop album reissue, which includes new songs “Turn Around” and “A Tattered Line of String,” the latter of which you can hear below. It’s a bit more dance-y than what we’re used to hearing from the duo, though Jenny Lewis’ ever-angelic voice keeps things grounded.
Speaking of Jenny, if Ben Gibbard goes after her after already having dated (and losing) Zooey Deschanel, I may drive to Seattle and throw hot coffee in his face. Just sayin’.

Oh this is pure bliss. I actually like Gibbard’s voice over a dance-y track like this. And adding Jenny Lewis never hurts.
The new songs will probably be “album only” tracks on iTunes, meaning that anyone who is actually still willing to pay for music will either have to re-purchase the whole album for the new songs, or say “fuck it” and torrent them like everyone else.
