Outside of host LL Cool Beret and Miguel’s voice, the only true highlight of the Grammys so far is Justin Timberlake, who performed “Suit and Tie” with Jay-Z and debuted the soulful “Pusher Love Girl,” which, holy crap. JT’s who Bruno Mars wants to be. You can watch the performance below, though be warned, do so quickly because it’s only a matter of time before the video’s pulled. Should that happen, feel free to join us in the live blog. Also worth paying attention to: Ellen looking at Beyoncé and thinking the same thing we are. That she wants a peace cookie.

Both of his new songs are awful.
No.
As someone who was looking forward to the new Timberlake album I was very disappointed. It felt dated and not in the way he was trying for. My wife and I were both glad to hear he was doing new music but it sounds like what happens when no one has the guts to tell an artist no. He obviously had a specific idea of what he wanted to go for but in my opinion he fell horribly flat
Respectfully disagree.
Side Note: I’m not used to seeing a calm, rational disagreement like this in any comments section. I was expecting homophobic slurs and for someone to call Obama a Nazi Muslim.
By this point I think all reasonable people have concluded that Obama is all those things and moved on to other issues.
I didn’t like suit and tie at all when I first heard it. Now it’s stuck in my head every other day.
Also, Jack White is a god
Yes.
And next year Tom Hanks will sing the Forrest Gump song. Geeeeeeeez
Justin Timberlake saved the show!!!! Everybody else was good but not great. I have to say that JT was great!! I am a 42 yr. fan of hip hop and JT is a person that everyone can feel and not a “fad” like Jack White and the Lumineers.
