Oh Canada!
Wait a minute, I thought you guys, Canadians, were supposed to be so nice, boring and bland, ey? Yet you take to the streets of Vancouver -- a place I thought was a nice, clean, sleepy town -- and you go all Middle East on it after your beloved Canucks lose in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Don't you know that you're only supposed to carry on in this sort of idiotic way when you win the championship? And why did you guys have so much anger and frustration to unleash? You have universal health care for Christ's sake! If anyone should be rioting in the streets, it's us down here in the U.S.
Anyway, if you went to bed early last night, you missed the destruction of Vancouver playing out in real time on the Internet. It was pretty breathtaking. In the middle of all this, the couple in the photo above found time for some street love amidst all this madness, so that's kind of refreshing, I guess. Pure insanity. After the jump is a gallery of other "WTF!?" photos and video from last night's riots I was able to find on the web this morning. I hope you're sitting down. And go see as our pals over at With Leather for a more extensive gallery when you're done, if you feel so inclined. Oh man I can't wait to see what the South Park guys do with this!

Do you know who took this photo?
@Hannah…It was posted to Twitpic, which is linked above, which led me to think it was just a random Twitter user with a good camera on his or her phone in the right place at the right time, but I’m just seeing some chatter on Twitter that it may have been newswire photographer. I’ll see if I can find a name.
