This is a clip from WCW’s “Road Wild” in 1998, in which Hulk Hogan (during his “Hollywood” Hogan phase) and Eric Bischoff teamed up against Diamond Dallas Page and… Jay Leno? Really? I feel like this is the sort of pop culture minutiae I should have already known about. Help me, Wikipedia!
In 1998, Leno made a series of appearances in conjunction with World Championship Wrestling as part of the nWo storyline. This culminated in a pay-per-view match at Road Wild ’98 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. At the event, Leno tag teamed with Diamond Dallas Page to defeat Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff with the aid of Kevin Eubanks.
I don’t know enough about pro wrestling to say that this is the stupidest idea in the history of pro wrestling, but I feel like I should say it anyway: this is the stupidest idea in the history of pro wrestling. If only Johnny Carson were alive today, he’d say, “Help! Get me out of here! I’m claustrophobic!” And then if someone got him out of the coffin, he’d be totally disappointed in Leno.

Johnny Carson patented the STFU.
See, it all started because Hogan went on The Tonight Show and mouthed off about Dallas Page. Now, Leno and Page were real tight back then, so The Chin didn’t take too kindly to the bad words about his good buddy. Meanwhile Bischoff started his own talk show to compete with Leno, only it was aired on Monday Nitro and…
I mean, uh, wrestling’s totally gay.
later that year, Leno was suppose to wrestle Bret Hart live on the Tonight Show….but the day before Owen Hart fell to his death in Kansas City, so Bret canceled the appearance, and….yeah umm…I never watched wrestling, that’s kids stuff…
This is not the stupidest idea in the history of pro wrestling.

The internet: America’s finest source for 11 year old “news.”
If you think this is as bad as it gets, you have NOT seen enough pro wrestling.
I think the link two comments above mine is about as bad as it gets. But this is close: [www.youtube.com]
