Anna felt better suited to the Seth Cohen of the pilot, who was genuinely awkward and kinda sweaty, whereas Summer was more suited to the nerd-in-name-only Seth who appeared when the showrunners started writing to Adam Brody’s real life attractiveness and charm.
Oliver was the worst. You’re right. But you can’t skip his episodes because good stuff is mixed in there, like Summer sabotaging Anna and Seth’s golf-trip sexy times, Ryan Finlay Quaying Marisa at midnight on New Years, the brief moment in time when they all were insanely into Rooney (!), etc.
I miss this show. Gotta do a (season 1 only) rewatch.
