Well that didn’t take long!
Going into tonight you just knew that some TV pundit would lose his or her marbles live on the air and say something mind-blowingly stupid. The question was who would it be. If I were to have placed a bet, I would’ve gone with Ed Schultz or Chris Matthews or Lawrence O’Donnell over at MSNBC, or Bill O’Reilly or Sean Hannity at Fox News, depending on which side’s candidate appeared to be the loser.
Well, with the early exit polls favoring Obama, Bill O’Reilly stepped right on up and firmly established himself as the frontrunner to be the night’s biggest TV jackass, glumly lamenting the demise of “the white establishment” and essentially charging blacks, Latinos and women with voting for Obama solely because they’re lazy and looking for handouts.
“The white establishment is now the minority,” O’Reilly said in response to a “How could this happen?” question from Megyn Kelly. “And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?…The demographics are changing. It’s not a traditional America anymore.”
O’Reilly went on to add that 50% of the people — presumably those with dark skin and/or female reproductive organs — “want stuff. They want things. And who is going to give them things? President Obama. He knows it, and he ran on it.”
Whoa! Homeslice Bill is just putting it all out there on the table, isn’t he? Translation: “WAKE UP, WHITE PEOPLE!” Watch in horror/amusement, as I did…
Now hopefully the race will tighten so someone from MSNBC will also step up to the plate and lose their mind on national TV as well!

I’ve always believed the opposite, that Bill O’Reilly is one of the only, if not THE only, people on Fox giving what he really believes. Partly because he can’t be as easily pigeon-holed in the policies he supports, and partly because he just seems genuinely curmudgeon-ly. Contrast that with Hannity and the rest who, I believe, would be out there shouting “BLACK POWER!!!” if it mean they made just $1 more than they are now.
I keep trying to come up with something witty and amusing to say, but I’m just so…. WTF Bill?!

Some local pundit tool made a note of how a lot of the talking heads were making “Freudian slips” and referring to Governor Romney as “President Romney” before correcting themselves, saying that the reason for the slip must be because Romney just “seems more Presidential.”
I won’t have to say “President Romney.” Mission accomplished.
Those two words just agitated my sciatica.
I can only assume that civil war is inevitable, if you’ll excuse me I’m going to Kentucky and steal all the bourbon I can. I was planning on doing it anyway, but now I’ll have an opportunity.

Tonight was one of those nights where I didn’t need to bank on TV pundits, when there are so many experts on Facebook and Twitter tonight.
I think the ABC crew might have surpassed this (admittedly pretty bad) idiocy when they said this might be the last election where two white guys run against each other.

This is the biggest case of putting words in someone’s mouth out of context I have ever seen. Bill O’Reily is a nutjob, but he is not racist or anti-women. What he was pointing out before this video begins is how the republican party needs to change. He spoke about how they needed to appeal to all these groups that voted for Obama because of handouts. It’s just the truth that there are more African Americans and Latinos on food stamps and living in poverty, he was just pointing out demographics. 42 million more people on food stamps though? The most inefficient government program there is, proof being that 25,000 of those new additions are DEAD. I voted for Obama in 2008. I went into this election undecided. His campaign lied more times than I can count, they literally blamed Romney for a woman dying of cancer. He demonized Romney and the Republicans, because of that they will make it HARDER for him to get anything done. I think this is wrong, but its Obama’s fault. Ugliest campaign ever, more people voted against Romney than voted for Obama, because he did such a great job Attacking (with lies) Romney’s Character.
I think Romney did plenty of attacking to his own character.

OLA almost certainly did not vote for Obama in 2008. Romney lied, according to political fact checker, over twice as many times (pants on fire lies, ie big boldfaced ones) as Obama did. Obama observed truths about Romney and the Republicans. They are demons.

The Republicans can win if they’re the pro-life party, they’ve done it before, they may do it again.
