Watch Jerry Seinfeld & David Letterman Ride Around In A Souped-Up Paul Newman-Designed Volvo Station Wagon

I tend to shun posting about any video that isn’t embeddable in a post because, well, THAT SH*T JUST PISSES ME OFF, but the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee — featuring Jerry Seinfeld and David Letterman riding around in a Volvo station wagon souped-up by Paul Newman — is too good for me not to share here. Here’s why…

– Letterman rarely grants interviews. For the peek behind the curtain this provides alone, it’s worth a watch.

– Letterman’s souped-up Volvo station wagon — a 1995 Volvo 960 station wagon outfitted with a 380-hp racing engine — that he got from Paul Newman. It’s just something you should see.

– Letterman’s story about the time the station wagon caught fire he was on his way to an appointment with a cardiologist.

– Even in this setting, Letterman cannot resist raking Leno over the coals, even launching into his always hilarious Leno impression at one point.
