Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, the officially licensed holiday soundtrack for A&E’s mega-popular Duck Dynasty, was released to Walmart aisle sevens on October 29, 2013. As we inch ever closer to Christmas, and beyond Hanukkah, the sales numbers continue to impress. In its fifth week of release, Duck the Halls, featuring hit singles “Ragin’ Cajun Redneck Christmas” and “Hairy Christmas,” sold 105,000 copies, or only 2,000 less than Britney Spears’s new album, Britney Jean…in its first week out. They’re a very happy bunch.
Amazing that A&E convinced Mandy Patinkin to join the cast. Anyway, in related can’t stop Duck Dynasty news.
“2013 was the year of zombies and duck dynasties. 2014 will be the year of TWERKING ZOMBIE DUCK DYNASTIES ON MOTORCYCLES,” said every cable executive after seeing those numbers.
