Sean Bean Has Amassed Quite An Impressive Death Reel

I don’t think I’m giving anything away to people who haven’t watched Game of Thrones yet by noting that Sean Bean’s character Ned Stark gets killed off — it’s virtually impossible to spend any time on the Internet and not know this — so save the whining about spoiler alerts, please. I say this because his death came as a shock to many who watch the show — I feel like we were all like “NOOOOO!” when it happened — but it really shouldn’t have come as any surprise.

And that’s because the characters Sean Bean portrays have a track record of death, gory, spectacular death, though few of us probably bothered to notice it. However, YouTube superstar Harry Hanrahan — the genius behind the supercut of Nicolas Cage losing his sh*t and the 100 greatest movie insults of all-time — did and has put together a reel of Sean Bean characters being killed in movies and television shows, 21 of them in total, and it is absolutely hilarious, though slightly uncomfortable at times. The music by Giles Lamb and the Dead Island Quartet is just the icing on the cake. And, needless to say, spoilers abound throughout the video.
