Well HELLLLOOOOO! As you have noticed by merely landing on UPROXX.com today, we’ve made a few changes around here. Allow me to walk you through them.
Put simply, we’ve redesigned the home page so that content from Warming Glow, our network’s beloved TV website, and GammaSquad, our destination for all things SciFi and geek, appear on the homepage along with all the usual stuff put out by me and my fellow UPROXX workhorses. So why are we doing this, you ask?
We’re doing this because we’ve found that many readers between the three sites share interests and we wanted to provide a one-stop-shop where they could find all TV, Sci-Fi and geek coverage they could handle all in one place. This will do nothing to change the look and feel of Warming Glow and GammaSquad, mind you — if you visit either of those sites directly you’ll notice that they look the same as they did previously. The only change for you, the reader, is right here on the UPROXX home page.
That is all. Carry on as you were. And Happy Monday!

N..No thanks?
A thought.
I check all three pages regularly. This change introduces a massive redundancy that, well, I suppose I’ll sort out in the next few days.
Yeah, there’s a lot we’re going to sort out in the coming days. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
“Your patience is greatly appreciated.”
Who said anything about patience?!

I don’t understand the question and I won’t respond to it.
BRING BACK MATT
RIP MATT
I, for one, welcome our new Uproxx overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality I could be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves!
Any rounding up of toilers will be rewarded with gumbo.
New homepage looks FANTASTIC
I have to admit — most website redesigns seem especially focused on making the user experience worse, not better. This, however, actually looks really good. Nice job. Now don’t go fucking up the commenting experience.
Our guys do a great job of rolling out changes that are subtle but significant, if that makes any sense at all. And thanks for voicing your approval…so often with these things it’s only the people who hate the changes who comment.
Yes. Put Mancini on an island. I like it. Can’t have all that marinara and olive oil greasing up the main page.
That sound you just heard was literally tens of RSS subscriptions being removed. I don’t want to go through all the extra trouble of marking something read *twice*.
You’re not the first person I’ve heard that from. Working on a fix, I promise.
AJ RUINED UPROXX11!!! Wait..nevermind.
It’s bothering me more today than when I initially saw it. It looks just fine, but I frequent both Warming Glow and Gamma Squad already, and would rather see a new post on the homepage when it pops up then something I have already read. That being said, I can understand if the other pages aren’t getting enough traffic and need the boost. I can surely deal with digging through a more crowded front page if it means more security for the other two.
The favicons for Warming Glow and Gamma Squad are now identical to the UPROXX main page one, which, in my particular application of my bookmarks toolbar, makes it confusing as I just use the favicons without any titles so that I can fit as many as possible on the bar.
