I believe Laughing Joe Biden put it best when he said:

Joe Biden is known for his crushing abilities, whether it be of the beer can or the p*ssy variety, and last night, he destroyed 1980s gym rat Paul Ryan. But even outside of the inherent hilarity that comes from the world's biggest Cheap Trick fan beating a man who looks like the worst infomercial salesman ever, the debate was a blast to watch because they, unlike Obama and Romney -- who have mastered the fine art of suppressing their emotions -- are both, well, kind of insane. Ryan's the scary kind of cuckoo, whereas Biden's more like your favorite drunk uncle, and together, they more than made up for the lack of Parks and Recreation.
The Internet had fun spoofing the debate with numerous images and GIFs. Here are some of our favorites.

From YESTERDAY'S MEME, but I love it too much. (Via)

Liberals think Biden won, conservatives think Ryan won, and most polls are showing a split.
I guess this is why they say VP debates rarely mean anything.
Biden came off like a megadouche IMO.
He did come off as douchey, but he did have his policy and facts down cold. The said this is, and one of the commentators said this last night, this is as much as about style as it is substance and for that Biden may have come out as the loser.
The sad thing is*
Where’s the animated gif of Biden scribbling and then it cutting to that naked lady drawing from The Big Lebowski?
DICKBUTT/CUOMO 2016!
Ryan looks shockingly like Jay Cutler in the cheesy 90s curling photos.
Which, for a Packers fan like him, must be intolerable.
The picture of Biden with the beer and LS shirt is actually from an Onion article.
The Onion, by the way, also fucking killed it last night.
Reminding me of Papa Roach is the worst thing anyone’s ever done to me.
Last night really answered some questions and raised some other questions for me….
The biggest question answered is that yes, based on appearances, Paul Ryan has undoubtedly raped at least one person.
The biggest question raised is, based on how he was staring at Biden, whether he rapes men or women.
After seeing Joe Biden in the debate, it should be clear that Biden is unhinged. He is obviously deranged and should be sent to a geriatric psychiatry clinic for evaluation and treatment. Uncontrollable laughter at deadly serious issues is not the behavior of a healthy mind.
The entire US cannot have a man so unstable continue in a position, one heart beat from the presidency.
Or conversely the presidential campaigns and all the troubles it brings attracts what other people may consider insane individuals.
I don’t think it is an inappropriate reaction to laugh at someone who is saying something blatantly untruthful or absurdly stupid (which is what Biden was trying to present), even if the subject matter is serious…..if someone denies the Holocaust and you laugh at them is that being disrespectful of the seriousness of the Holocaust?
Wow…Godwin’s Law invoked on the second reply.
Sadly, that is not an internet record.
Gotta agree with TF on that one.
Biden has been a looney for a long time. Remember he was pretending he lived Neil Kinnock life in a speech he gave in the eighties.
It’s not Godwin.
Their are a slew of morons who believe the Holocaust didn’t happen. That is the most relevant example I could come up with regarding seriousness and stupidity.
Geez, calling Godwin any time anyone mentions things pertaining to World War II is something Hitler would do.
Clearly you haven’t been paying attention to Vice Presidents and VP Candidates in last 30-40 years if you think Biden is somehow scary.
Here’s Godwin’s Law:
“As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.”
I’d say the Holocaust involves Hitler and the Nazis. And I’d say comparing lying politicians to genocide is a bit harsh.
Are you serious?
I didn’t compare anything to the Holocaust. I used it as an example of a serious situation where someone’s comments could make you laugh AT THEM not AT THE SITUATION.
Just reference the Holocaust is not a Godwin. And also…by “a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler” means the COMPARISON involves Nazis or Hitler (I.e. “you’re a Nazi”). You’re suggesting that making fun of mustaches is a Godwin because Hitler had a mustache thus references to mustaches involve Hitler.
I could have just as easily pointed out laughing at people who think the moon landing is staged but I didn’t really feel that was a particularly solemn issue.
TF – Or that 9/11 was an inside job by Bush and the Neocons. That keeps you out of Godwin territory (though I agree that you didn’t invoke the rule with your Holocaust comment).
AV, Thanks. That is the example I will use in the future to avoid this minefield.
Oooohh crap, Nazi’s used mines! And I think your example is a reference to the terrorists winning.
Yeah, the Nazi’s were just as recognized for their usage of mines as they were for the Holocaust.
I was so hoping JB would drop the F-Bomb. Repeatedly. The debate was probably the longest stretch of time where he didn’t use it yesterday. I’d wager he dropped it like a caffeinated Tourettes victim as soon as it was over.
Ryan was kind to let the demented old man have his giggles….
That last image of Ryan could use a touch up:
