Shia LaBeouf Gets Weird And Storms Off Stage At The World Premiere Of ‘Nymphomaniac’

UPDATE: Now with above video.
UPDATE 2: And the show continues on the red carpet, complete with paper bag head gear.

Noted artistic plagiarist and former actor Shia LaBeouf made an appearance at the world premiere for Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac Vol. 1 and managed to steal the show by being a weird ass. From The Hollywood Reporter:

About 10 minutes into the press conference, LaBeouf was asked his first question, which was about doing a movie with so many sex scenes. He slowly and deliberately said: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.”

He then left the stage to go control the night and open up a Popeye’s franchise. Of course the kicker here is that LaBeouf stole this strange breakdown from someone. From Deadline:

The quote was originally uttered by former Manchester United footballer Eric Cantona at a 1995 press conference after he won an appeal against a two-week prison sentence for kicking an abusive fan.

So nothing has changed. Nothing is different. It’s just SheBuff being Shebuff. Stealing ideas, taking names and being a general crazy ass in the public eye. Not to mention that he almost awkwardly beat up some fans the night before.

The troubled actor’s bizarre behavior started Saturday night when three young men tried to snap a picture of him at the lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, only to have LaBeouf lunge towards them.

Several acquaintances of LaBeouf quickly intervened and defused the situation. But there’s little anyone can do to control LeBeouf, whose bizarre antics and statements, including declaring that he’s retiring from public life, don’t appear to be any closer to ending. (via)

Never change, Shia. You’re slowly becoming my favorite out of touch Hollywood asshole. Not to mention that you’re beginning to look like someone who is living at the bus station.
